My name is Chancellor Wartell and let me set things right
In 1966 we started awarding out degrees
To a large graduation class, 47 I believe
The best and brightness students make Northeast Indiana the tops
Whether getting Henna tattoos or attending Facebook workshops
Even though there are many things you can get a major degree on
The students still walk around singing the same old song

I don’t know what school I really go to
Is it Indiana or is it Perdue?
It’s only when I get my diploma that I can tell you

We beat State and National averages in CPA test scores
Our Nursing program joins consortium to advance education even more
We’re the fifth largest university in Indiana state
We are committed to excellence, there is no debate
Our campus borders on the St. Joesph River’s shore
Thanks to visionaries, we strive for even more
Even with all this, that sad sound still lingers on
