My Music Critics

My Generation ( The Who )

They all write some mean things down (Talking bout my music critics)
On how we don’t have the same sound (Talking bout the music critics)
They say we’re too old to be on the stage (Talking bout my music critics)
We should retire and act our age ( Talking bout my music critics )

These are my music critics
These are my music critics

Why don’t they all just go away (Talking bout my music critics )
They live in the past and not today ( Talking bout my music critics )
They criticize us for The Who we are ( Talking bout my music critics )
Not easy being a Rock n Roll star ( Talking bout my music critics )

These are my music critics
These are my music critics

We’re half the band they used to see (Talking bout my music critics )
And three times as old since we were a teen ( Talking bout my music critics )
We may miss a note here or there ( Talking bout my music critics )
At least we’re not wearing Depends underwear ( Talking bout my music critics )

These are my music critics
These are my music critics

And there’s one thing we like to say (Talking bout my music critics )
When we have left our mortal stay ( Talking bout my music critics )
Your words will fade and be forgot ( Talking bout my music critics )
But we taught everybody how to rock ( Talking bout my music critics )

My music critics
My music critics
