On this date in 1967 – Dr. James Bedford becomes the first person to be cryonically preserved with intent of future resuscitation. That same method of preserving oneself with various drugs and liquid medication is being carried out today by the foremost expert in the field, Charlie Sheen.

On this date in 1981: The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) donates several rock record albums to the Library of Congress, including Bob Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde and KISS’ Alive! WHAT ? Your telling me the Library of Congress couldn’t come up with a penny to buy LP’s with The Columbia House Record Club!!!!

1968 – The Supremes appeared in an episode of “Tarzan” on NBC-TV. The ladies played a group of nuns. And what song did they sing for the show. ” You Keep Me Hangin’ On “, of course!!!
