Woody’s BBQ and Beach Shack

23 04 2011

Down on the Island off Maddox Boulevard
There’s a place in time I found that’s the best so far
Nestled between the ocean and the bay
A little paradise after a hot summer day
From the sea shell floor to the clear blue sky
Once you say hello, you can’t say goodbye

Woody’s BBQ and Beach Shack
Once you go there you’ll always come back
To find an old friend or to meet a new one
A place to chill out from the hot beach sun
There’s only one spot where you can relax
Woody’s BBQ and Beach Shack

A hole in the wall from the outside
But with a second look, you start to realize
With surfboards and hammocks swaying in the breeze
And that fresh smell of BBQ bringing you to your knees
As the steel drum music floats around the wind
Before you know it, your already in

Woody’s BBQ and Beach Shack
Once you go there you’ll always come back
To find an old friend or to meet a new one
A place to chill out from the hot beach sun
There’s only one spot where you can relax

From Mothers to Columbus, it’s the place to be
When you come to take a visit at Chincoteague
Four years young and growing every season
It’s fun for all ages, there’s no reason
To see you next time cause there’s plenty of room
I’ll be in a hammock, see you soon at

Woody’s BBQ and Beach Shack
Once you go there you’ll always come back
To find an old friend or to meet a new one
A place to chill out from the hot beach sun
There’s only one spot where you can relax
